Sprouted Mung bean or moong dal salad


INGREDIENTS:
sprouted moong dal or mung bean                      11/2cup
onion chopped                                                     1 small size
tomato chopped                                                   1 small size
salt                                                                       1/2tsp
cumin powder                                                     1/4tsp
chili powder or pepper                                        1/4tsp
olive oil                                                               1tsp
may add lime juice or chat masala to make it spicy
cilantro chopped for garnishing

MEHOD:
  • To make sprouts soak bean or dal for one night and next morning tie them in damp cloth for another day.
  • Heat a pan or skillet on medium and pour oil , then add onion and tomato cook them for few seconds.
  • Add moong sprouts , salt and spices.
  • Stir...cook for another few minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander ...and enjoy ur protein packed healthy breakfast!!!

Black eye bean salad


INGREDIENTS:
black eye beans                       1cup
onion chopped                         1 small size
tomato chopped                       1 small size
cumin powder                           1/4tsp
black pepper powder                1/4tsp
olive oil                                        1tsp
lime juice                                      1tsp
can add chat masala also to make it more spicy

Method:   
  • Soak the beans in water overnight and pressure cook it with some salt for  about one whistle.( may also use canned one).
  • Heat a pan pour oil, then add chopped onion , tomato, spices and cook for few sec. to remove raw flavor  , u can skip it if like it raw.
  • Mix beans and  lime juice .
  • You can also add coriander if u like .
